During cooler weather they will be active for most part of the day. Will walk in a single file between drinking and feeding areas. When they walk or run , a dominant female will lead the herd. They form herds that consist out of several males and females with offspring as well as solitary males.

The Blesbok is a seasonal breeder with peak births during September – December. A single calf is born after a gestation period of +-8 months.
